Lambda Delta Sigma Chapter: New Castle, Delaware
Thank you for your interest in the Lambda Delta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Our chapter is a cornerstone for men in the New Castle area who are dedicated to the high ideals of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service.
Phi Beta Sigma was founded on the belief that a fraternity should be more than a social club; it should be a training ground for world, business, and community leaders. Our success is driven by the commitment and vision of our members, and we are always looking for men who embody these principles.
Membership Eligibility
Membership in Phi Beta Sigma is classified into two primary categories. Regardless of the path, all candidates must demonstrate a commitment to community uplift and academic or professional excellence.
- Alumni Membership: Open to professional men who have been granted a baccalaureate degree or other recognized degree from an accredited college or university.
- Collegiate Membership: Open to men currently attending a recognized college or university, working toward a baccalaureate degree. Candidates must have completed at least one grading period with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- General Requirements: * Candidates must not be (and must not have been) a member of any other intercollegiate fraternity, other than an honorary or professional organization.
Membership is granted based on the terms and conditions outlined in the Fraternity’s official membership intake and development process.
