Eastern Region holds first-ever Virtual Regional Conference

The “New Normal” calls for Innovation

With the cancellation of the Regional Conference, scheduled for the first weekend of April in Richmond, VA, Regional leadership, with the support of the Brotherhood, chose a new avenue to handle the business of the organization. On Saturday, April 25, 2020, the Eastern Region of Phi Beta Sigma held its’ inaugural Virtual Regional Conference. The Virtual Regional Conference, the first of its’ kind, represents a shift that is necessitated by current world affairs.

New policies, procedures, and initiatives were executed, and brothers of the chapter played a key role in numerous functions. Brother David Clayton, Spring 2019 initiate and current chapter secretary, served as our chapter’s appointed Delegate for the proceedings. Brother President Euwings, who is also Deputy Chief of Staff to the Regional Director, served as the Chair of the Elections Committee. Brother Vice President Warren, also Northern DE Area Director, served as a member of the Chapter Reports Committee, and Brother Michael Wynn served as a member of the PBS committee.

In addition to many important actions, a new Regional Board was sworn in. The new slate of officers for the Eastern Region of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. are as follows:

The Chapter congratulates the newly elected officers and looks forward to working with them to continue elevating the Mighty Eastern Region and our phenomenal Fraternity.
